Boualaphan Sichanthapadit-Welch (Noi)
DIRECTOR/FOUNDER
Noi was raised in Vientiane, the capital of Laos but moved to America where she was married to Doug Welch, a professor at Ozark Christian College, in 2019. Doug and Noi currently reside in Joplin, Missouri and Noi works as an RA at LovinGrace, a transitional facility for young women.

Noi loves to share the gospel with people. Her heartbeat is to equip and teach young people to love Jesus and follow him. She also loves being married to Doug. Some of her favorite hobbies include cooking, learning new things, reading, walking, and hiking in nature.
Judy Welch
NGA Secretary/Treasurer
Judy was born and raised in East Lansing, Michigan. In 1969, she married Lyle Welch, Ph.D. in Mathematics. They lived 8 years in Ohio and 30 years in Illinois before moving to Joplin, MO, in December of 2009.

Judy has a BA degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Monmouth College. Lyle and Judy are parents to three grown children:

Dr. Teresa Welch Roberts, Vice President and Professor at Ozark Christian College, married to Chris and step mother to Lorelai.

Doug Welch, Professor at Ozark Christian College and married to Noi.
​
Kyle Welch, Research/Writing Pastor at Shepherd Church, California, married to Monica, parents to Jacob and Allison.
​
Judy has worked in Bookkeeping and Accounting for more than 35 years; 25 of those years as a Staff Accountant with a bank.
She currently volunteers two afternoons a week with the non-for-profit, God’s Resort, as a bookkeeper.
Her hobbies include flower gardening and watching Asian dramas.
Alex Busskohl
Board Member
Alex was raised in Norfolk Nebraska but currently resides in Omaha, where he lives with his wife Chelsea, daughters Chloe and Lily, and dog Beau! Alex Busskohl is the Sales and Business Development Manager at Arrow Stage Lines, a family owned charter motorcoach company.

Alex has a heart for Laos and the people there. He has been over to southeast Asia twice in his life. His goal with NGA is to help equip and encourage others in their walk of life and their walk with the Lord.
​
Alex enjoys spending time with his family as well as spending time in either a boat, airplane, or bus!
Sarah Obermann
Board Member
Sarah resides in Northwest Arkansas with her husband, Brian and their three sweet boys. Sarah is the Curriculum Coordinator for her church's Early Childhood Ministry. She is passionate about women's ministry, and loving and encouraging families in their walk with the Lord. When Noi came to share the ministry of NGA with her church a few years ago, Sarah immediately knew this was something she wanted to get involved with. She is excited about all that God is doing in Laos through NGA. In her spare time, Sarah loves cooking, crafting, hiking and enjoying the outdoors with her family and friends.
